Typical questions and answers about reporting to Business accounts statistics

Some items in the online form can be pre-filled with relevant information from the annual financial report, previsouly submitted to the Danish Business Authority. Starting from 2025 and on, the items that can be pre-filled will be marked in the survey draft.

When you log in and start entering data, the online form gets locked to your MitID. The lock ensures the confidentiality of your data. Multiple employees can contribute to or approve a report in the following ways:

1. Download a PDF with all of the questions and gather information and approvals from relevant colleagues before logging in, entering data and submitting the report.
2. Fill out and save the online form draft – and unlock for a colleague: Log in with MitID, fill out the report as thoroughly as possible, select 'Quit and save' on the last page – under the 'Submit' button. Go to the report overview, click on the padlock next to the report, and remove your MitID lock. A colleague can now log in, make any necessary corrections, and submit the report.
3. Fill out and submit – and unclock for a colleague: Log in with MitID, fill in the report as thoroughly as possible, and submit it. Download a copy of the submitted report. Relevant colleagues can now review and potentially make corrections to the copy of the report.
• You can log in, reopen, edit, and resubmit with your MitID.
• You can log in with MitID and remove your MitID lock. A colleague can now log in, check, make any necessary corrections, and resubmit the report.

Note: The most recently submitted version of the report is the valid one.

Starting from 2025, it will be possible to download a copy of the report for review – before submitting.

• If you submitted the report: Log in with MitID and download a copy of your report.
• If a colleague has submitted the report: The colleague can log in with their MitID and remove their MitID lock. You can also contact our support, who can assist you with unlocking the report.

We require companies to report the necessary information, but we strive to keep the amount of information requested to a minimum.

The information you enter is validated at each page break. This may determine what information you need to fill out – and which questions may be hidden – on the subsequent pages.

Therefore, you cannot navigate through the online form without filling out the information along the way. Please note that you may see fewer questions or input fields in the online form than in the PDF draft.

We are working to reduce the reporting burden and to minimise double reporting to different authorities.

If you have submitted an XBRL report using the Danish GAAP taxonomy to the Danish Business Authority, your report may be pre-filled with relevant information.

Please note that if your company uses an income statement by function, the amount of pre-filled information will be limited, as the statistics require an income statement by nature.

Pre-filled items can be edited in the white input fields (any corrections will not be shared with the Danish Business Authority).
