Please notice, this version is no longer current. See the current version here.

Name:

DB25_V1_2025

Description:

Danish Industry Code 2025 (DB25), is a statistical classification of economic activities, which is primarily developed for statistical purposes. The introductory chapters describe rules and guidelines for classification of the main economic activity of the Danish companies and associated production units (workplaces). This ensures a uniform treatment of the units in Statistics Denmark's Business Statistics Register (ESR) and therefore also in the Danish Central Business Register (CVR).

DB25 is a 6-digit Danish subdivision of the EU classification, the 4-digit NACE rev. 2.1, which is a new version of NACE rev. 2 from 2008. NACE rev. 2.1 is a regional version of the UN's international nomenclature, ISIC rev. 5, which is a new version of ISIC Rev. 4 from 2008.

NACE rev. 2.1 applies from 1 January 2025 in all EU member states according to Regulation (EU) 2023/137 amending Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 on the statistical classification of economic activities.
