Labour costs
How much do corporations and organisations in various industries spend on labour costs? How much money is allocated to education and other staff costs? The statistics account for the total expenditure of corporations and organisations on earnings and other labour costs associated with employment.
Selected statistics on Labour costs
Total labour cost by industry
Total labour costs are compiled on the basis of the labour cost survey, which comprises two sub-surveys, the annual structure of earnings survey and the survey of other labour costs for the private sector. The structure of earnings survey is described in the quality declaration. The survey of other labour costs of business enterprises is based on a sample (see section 3.2). The primary data for the total labour costs are collected in collaboration with the Danish Employers' Confederation, Finance Denmark and Insurance and Pension, which collect information from their affiliate business enterprises and the information, is then made available to Statistics Denmark. Statistics Denmark collects information from non-affiliate business enterprises and organisations. When possible the information is collected from ATP.
