Data completeness rate

The national accounts comply with the following regulation: European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) No. 549/2013 of 21 May 2013 on the European system of national and regional accounts in the European Union (ESA2010) (OJ L 174 26.06.2013, p. 1). The consumption survey is indirectly subject to Council Regulation (EC) no. 2494/95 (1) of 23 October 1995 on harmonized consumer price indices. The consumption survey provides data to Eurostat every 5 years, and complies with the guidelines issued by Eurostat. Eurostat and the OECD work together to produce similar distribution statistics and strongly encourage all countries to report distribution figures. However, there is still no legislation in this area.
